Recently we had to use Rocko Funeral Home in Centreville, AL and the Director Kayla Clark to handle the funeral for my brother, Tim Holder, after a short hard fight with Leukemia. I have to say they were professional and handled everything like it was their own family member. I will highly recommend anyone using their services in the future. Kayla and the staff went above and beyond.

There were right there for us not only in the difficult time of loosing our mother, but with the issues in what we thought were all taken care of in a preplanned policy. They helped us get through all of it in a very compassionate, professional way.

Wanted $12,000 for just a vault and embalming. No digging, casket, using their chapel, etc. They asked the family to write the obituary! charged $800 just to pick up my nana and bring her back to the funeral home when they were 6 miles down the road. Then didn’t want to take her life insurance. They charged us $180 to collect the life insurance. They got mad when we decided not to go with them. They take advantage of people at their lowest! We went with Nelson’s funeral home in Fayette Alabama. They charged $5,800 for vault, 2 hour transportation from Centreville to Fayetteville, flowers and headstone engraving. Never use rockco!

Such empathy and compassion shown from everyone involved. They walked us through every step of the way and checked back to make sure that everything was being prepared for our family. My parents had pre-planning done and everything was done accordingly. All of the subcontractors suggested by Rocko in Centreville Alabama were professional and caring. Even the grief counseling offered to anyone is such a comfort and a blessing. All the stars given for this wonderful team and I would recommend them to anyone.

The day I was told about my Little Brother was horrific. The team at Rockco's allowed me to see my Brother because after being told two different names I didn't believe it was really my Brother. From the time I walked in I was treated with Kindness and tenderness. Victoria comforted us and Kayla ask if she could do anything. They guided us through the steps of his policy, waited for me to find his clothes and I even took another shirt the next day and they smiled and said it was fine. The day of the viewing it was Beautiful! I said to Victoria that Johnny would have Loved it. I could just see his grin. Food layed out,care taken to what he liked from Alabama football, lemon heads and his baha mountain dew. The whole staff (just my opinion as Johnny's big sister) was absolutely very professional with a touch of feeling like Family. I will be planning my funeral with this funeral home and this Staff. It’s been almost 10 & 1/2 years.. but I am still pissed, hurt, and confused. My 4 week old son died in 2014 and we entrusted Rocko’s to handle his memorial service.. when my ex husband and I went to make the arrangements the day after he died, we were in the office and the man running the funeral home at the time looked us both in the eyes and told us that our son wasn’t important enough to have a service for. That he hadn’t been alive long enough for us to get attached to. I was 19 years old and this 70 something year old man was saying this. I went home and told my dying father, who drove to Rocko’s and handled business. Fast forward to the service, and they handed my ex husband a giant ziploc bag with our son’s blood soaked clothes & blanket in it before the service started. His dad had to grab it and take it to the car before I saw it. I have never gotten over and I probably never will.

I wouldn't give them 1 star but that was the lowest option. They are very unprofessional, placed me on hold, then stated that transport would call. It's been over 3 hours. No one has call or came. At this point if it was me waiting. I would have told them where they could stay. But since it's not my family. Let me make others aware. Don't use them they have no sense of urgency!!!!!
