Booking this Hotel was what I wanted to stay in over one night. It was a very comfortable and clean room. I enjoyed it so good 😊 I breakfast in the morning was great and I appreciate that. Staff on front desk was very nice. Thank you so much

From the moment we pulled up to what I can only describe as a miniature ode to disappointment – a hotel with a statue so unassuming it barely registered as a landmark – my doubts about our overnight stay began to bloom. Any lingering hope was immediately snuffed out upon entering, where we were "greeted" by a desk clerk whose expression perfectly captured the existential dread of a Monday morning. No smile, no welcome, just a profound sense of regret for past life choices radiating from behind the counter. Armed with our room number and a growing sense of trepidation, we proceeded to our sanctuary. The moment my key card granted us entry, we were enveloped in a cloud of what I can only assume was the ghost of a thousand cigarettes past. Despite my very clear request for a non-smoking room, it seems the hotel's definition of "non-smoking" included a complimentary lung-full of stale nicotine. A quick inspection of our abode revealed more eccentricities. Three lamps graced the room, one conspicuously lacking a bulb. This led to an intriguing "share the light" situation where the desk lamp had to borrow the nightstand's illumination, presumably for a quick study session before bed. The bathroom, surprisingly, was mostly clean, save for a lone, rather long strand of hair that seemed to have taken up permanent residence. The sink, in its own unique way, sported a "patina" – a subtle, permanent stain that added a touch of rustic charm. On the bright side, the refrigerator was commendably cold, and the microwave, while functional, offered a captivating performance: its broken spindle meant the glass plate inside performed a delightful, if not slightly unsettling, interpretive dance as it spun. Now, a word about the bed. Having had previous encounters with the infamous eight-legged demons (bedbugs, for the uninitiated), my first order of business was a thorough, almost forensic, inspection. Thankfully, no creepy crawlies were found, though the mattress sides bore a few abstract "art pieces" in the form of stains. The sheets, to their credit, were clean and thankfully odorless. My husband, ever the keen observer, then pointed out a couple of small, round holes in the comforter. Cigarette burns? Perhaps. Or perhaps, the previous occupant was just really into abstract art. My husband, a carpenter by trade, couldn't help but notice the subtle misalignment of our room's front door with its frame – a true testament to the hotel's unique approach to structural integrity. As for the bed itself, it was "somewhat comfortable," which I believe is the kindest way to describe a mattress that feels like it’s had a long and eventful life. And my pillow? Let's just say it offered the luxurious fluffiness of a tightly folded towel. In conclusion, our stay at this establishment was… an experience. It was clean enough, offered a place to rest and bathe, and provided ample material for future dinner party anecdotes. With a little TLC, some overdue upgrades, and perhaps a desk clerk who's had a good night's sleep, this hotel could truly transform into a… decent place to lay your head.

I spent 4 days here recently while working with a local realtor, I found the rooms clean and updated. My door was troublesome at times to get the card to read and the proprietor advised he has them all scheduled to be changed in the near future. It’s a great Gadsden or Rainbow City hotel with Chicken Salad Chick in walking distance. Would stay here again if the need arises.

Decent room and prices. Very quiet and safe. Forgot some important items after checking out, and they made sure they stayed safe until I picked them up. Would definitely stay again if I needed to.

It was a great experience. Rooms were comfortable and the area was quiet and near by many shopping and food locations. The stuff was very helpful. Breakfast had good options and the coffee was nice. Beds were cozy and comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. I will definitely be back when I am I town.

This was the nastiest place I have ever stayed at. I always put socks on, because other people walk in the room, and they were solid black. The bathtub was so nasty I couldn't take a shower or bath. DON'T EVER GET A ROOM HERE.NASTY, NASTY, NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!

They charge a service charge like an Airbnb. It was forty dollars which is more than half of the price of the room. They don't disclose this until after you book. The room was dark. One of the beds was in a closet. Breakfast choice were raisen bran or corn flakes. Milk was poured out of a gallon jug. There were three small tables in the breakfast area and two of those were pushed together. There were white stains in comforter, and the bed squeaked every time moved. The room was so small that the chair for the desk wouldn't fit under it with enough room to walk. The bathroom was so small that the door wouldn't close when the bath mat was down. It was a bad experience with a worse price. Stay away!
