Great selection and prices,has shop just for shoez next door!

Love their clothes but hate those prices. Although they were having a sale. I saved fifty percent on a purse for my wife's birthday. I got a pair of hiking boots and fell out when I saw they were marked down to twenty dollars and was able to use a coupon and saved another five bucks. Sixteen forty nine for a pair of boots that should be sold for at least a hundred dollars.

My most favorite place EVER!! I can't say enough really! There are 2 special ladies who work there that make me feel so special. Great items and awesome sales! They also carry my favorite make-up here, Estee' Lauder.

Very picked over, disorganized. I found a pair of shoes on the clearance rack that were marked down to $31.99 and said additional 50% off. When I checked out, which took forever because there were only 2 registers open in the whole store, they said they weren't an additional 50% off. I showed her where I found them and she said there was a lot of stuff out of place right now. I felt I should have been given the 50% off since there were signs everywhere that said additional 50% off clearance. So then I was going to use a coupon for 50% off clearance and bc I was using a gift card she said I couldn't use both.... so I left without the shoes. The last time I was in this store to buy make up I had an issue as well and said I wasn't going back.....

Terrible. I thought that since they were going out of business the prices would be lowered. But they are still very high priced and I saw very few "deals". There were some items that had not even been marked down yet. This makes me wonder, if they increased their prices instead of discounting them. If so, this is supposed to be illegal I believe. Has anyone seen noticed this? I used to buy most of my clothes here because they had great prices but not now! Smhhhh.

I went to the Gardendale Alabama location today and had the worst experience of my life. The Goodys employee (Connie Sampson) was so rude to me and my family. I had a return with no receipt and she treated us so disrespectful. She told me that I could not exchange my items for the correct size nor get a merchandise credit without a receipt. She was unpleasant and unprofessional. At one point, she became so frustrated that she started yelling at us. I will never go back to this store!

I hadn't been in Goody's in a decade. I bought a pair of blue jeans, a Christmas sweater and anothet white sweater. My friend bought a pair of blue jeans, pajama pants and sandals. The prices were good on the sandals, sweaters and pajama pants but I didn't think the jeans were priced well.

I ordered my grandson a tux from there and paid extra for a shirt/shoe upgrade and it was got an out of town wedding. When I received the tux, the only thing that fit was his pants. They refused to overnight the correct sizes like I was told. They said they were closed already. Because of that, I had to pay to have the jacket, vest and bow tie altered. Then I had to rent a pair of shoes. The refused to pay for the alterations. Jim's Formalwear will also be notified of this situation. I DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO GIVE THEM 1 STAR!!!!!
