I bought my house earlier this year and it has a central vac system that was installed by Cathey's (thankfully the previous owner left lots of paperwork and warranty docs for me). I didn't know how long it had been since its last service, but with 2 fluffy mini Aussie's I thought they killed the system. Luis Moreno from Cathey's came out to service the system and fixed the clogged attachment. He was quick to respond and make the appointment, he was on time, friendly, and did a terrific job.

Outstanding service and products! My experience is related to a new central vacuum system. Luis Moreno is the central vacuum manager, and he was professional, courteous, and went above and beyond what I was expecting as far as price, installation, and education about the system I purchased. Please support this family-run business, especially if you need a new central vacuum!

I have been a faithful customer since moving to Tucson in 2004. I have seen them through a complete re-do of their stores, have purchased 2 great machines from them, been trained by them, and have been serviced by them (now that doesn’t sound right!). I was thrilled when they added Green Valley to their business locations. The best part is that they have the most wonderful staff (friendly and knowledgeable), a huge product line, and very fair pricing. I send everyone I know to these people. The best!

I purchased a Sebo D4 vacuum on 7/6/22. Geordy Cathey exceeded my expectations in every aspect of the sale. His product knowledge was superb. His sales presentation was informative. As far as price, he beat the best price I found online, and I searched for hours. He also threw in a box of vacuum bags and more. As far as customer service, he took my information including my email and registered the product for me. Buying my vacuum from Cathy's sewing and vacuums was the best retail experience I can recall. I highly recommend Cathy's. I wish I could give them 10 Stars!

The staff here are very helpful. I had been on the fence about trading up for a mid-range machine rather than my Singer 1507 model. Not only were they knowledgeable, they were also willing to answer my endless questions with a smile. They were willing to look at multiple machines in my price point and even search for comparison charts on the machine specs. They even special ordered the Viking machine I'd decided on. The store is very clean and orderly as well as well lit. The staff will also allow you to test out machines you are unfamiliar with. The staff at Cathey's on Duval Mine Rd is awesome!

In late Feb 2024, my Pfaff needed servicing and help with the cover. The clerk said, "We don't need the cover. We'd have to fiddle with it. For Pfaffs we're backed up 'til mid May." She turned away. I headed for the control and cover. Rudely, she called not to bring the cover. I took my Pfaff and left. A to Z Vac and Sew serviced it in a week!

As a AZ/MN snowbird, I reached out to Catheys in Tucson from MN to purchase a Baby Lock machine. I was pleased with their service, the speed with which I received the shipment, and their competitive price. I would not hesitate to recommend them nor use their services again.
