Wouldn't recommend. Update: 7/31/24 You allow liberal bias to affect your coverage. NPR’s government funding should be rescinded.

We think APM is out of this world - the music programming is second to NONE.....its interesting, sophisticated, and a total delight. This comes from life-long professional musicians who are über-critical and picky about what they enjoy and listen to. We continue to be amazed by what we hear in the diverse world of classical music programming from your station. We were MPR devotees but are finding that their policy of bowing to the lowest common denominator of public radio market polling, no longer does the job for us. As a result, we no longer contribute although Michael Barone is a personal long time friend and it grieves us that his program "Pipedreams" is not carried on ANY Arizona public radio station. However, we do appreciate that some organ music appears on air from time to time. We also appreciate the fact that you support so wholly the local arts scene so heartily. This is another thing that MPR and many other public radio outlets would do well to trumpet. It (of course) helps bond your support to the community. We are AMAZED that you don't raise more money than you do on your pledge drives. MPR runs these drives all too often and reaps huge rewards. Continued success - we love what you do on both the music and talk stations!!!! Your announcers are also a joy. So well informed and "just enough" information - not the boring dissertations and amateur musicology that we hear on other public radio stations as we go around the country.

Suddenly the evening music with NPR news live at top of the hour is gone. We are being told to buy an alexa or a new HD radio if we don't like the reruns of the mind-numbing talking head shows. Hidden Brain puts me to sleep the first time, now it bores me even more on weekday evenings. Our legacy analog receivers at home and in cars are being sent to the trash heap by management of the 89.1 side. Don't bother emailing them a comment; they delete or ignore anything unfavorable. This is either a giant case of hubris or tone-deafness or both. But then AZPM does that quite well on all its platforms.

Programming based on truthful reporting of news, wholesome and entertaining variety of shows, separate kid channel, local shows with original content, and connections to valid global news shows. Broadcasts television and radio shows from the UofA Tucson campus. Great kid channel!

2 stars because some of the show are really enjoyable.....I would have given 3 stars.....however I took one away because the begging borderline brain washing every 15 minutes to send them money makes some of the shows just unbearable. If you really want to reward a contributor.......offer them a no azpm advertising incentive.

Some documentary programs would be a lot more interesting, especially if the background music was lowered . Don't need! competes with the content It's quite loud and annoying, anyone agree?
