My elderly mother called months ago to see what help my family could qualify for, she talked to 2 people and neither of them even tried to find any kind of assistance for my parents. Now they and my sister and I are facing the last month of being able to pay their mortgage and we have nowhere to go and no idea where to turn because these people couldn't be bothered.

PCOA provides a wide range of services for older adults, including things like: -helpline and resource directory to help people get reliable information and resources -in home support, such as direct care workers and home repairs -training for family caregivers and direct care workers -Meals on Wheels and community lunch programs -services for people living with dementia and their families -fitness, healthy living, and fall prevention classes -family caregiver resources (including respite) and education -advocacy for older adults and those living in long term care facilities -classes on programs like Medicare and ALTCS (from an unbiased source not trying to sell you a certain plan or making a commission) -resources, education, and advocacy for elder abuse and exploitation -help with end of life care planning It's a shame that they're losing more and more funding for their services, especially as the aging population in this area only continues to grow. I'm glad they're here trying to help the community with what they can though. Shame on anyone trying to cut vital services from some of our most vulnerable community members when they're already underserved.

I have been here several times, and everyone was very pleasant. I also took a class for Life Care Planning. On March 25, 2025, I arrived at the front desk and stood there waiting for the receptionist to acknowledge me. The receptionist was unprofessional and negative. Unfortunately, my sister and I took the blunt of it. I did manage to pick up the Advance Directive package and left. I would like to thank Pima Council on Aging for all the work and support they do for Pima County.

Former employee here. It's amazing this place takes care of elderly, while employees are terminated unlawfully. Place is like a funeral parlor, upper management is rigid, toxic and vindictive. My former CFO hated me personally, couldn't trust him at all, loves to yell at you as well, doesn't delegate or manage. Don't go here. Their finances are not in order.
