Clean, quiet. It was just my husband and I watching the 7:20 pm My Friend the Penguin movie and they shut the air off. It became warm. Outside was 113°. We checked the other theater studios and the hallway and the concession stand was cool with the air-conditioning on.

Have always enjoyed this theater. Not as crowded, which I LIKE, popcorn is fresh, never been big on hotdogs, but their HOTDOGS are delicious, staff is FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL and I prefer Agoura Regency over any other movie theater in the area.

Went to see a movie here tonight. Went into the theater and was immediately assaulted by extremely loud soundtrack from the previews. I checked with my sound meter app and it was regularly getting up to 86 decibels! I notified the usher and he said he would take care of it. I went back and sat down but after 5 minutes there was no change. I went out and notified the people at the main desk and one woman followed me back into the theater. She got about 3 steps inside and turned around and left. I ran out and asked where she was going and she said to notify the people in the booth. It should not have taken 2 trips out of the theater to get this resolved. It shouldn't have been that loud in the first place. According to the CDC, noise above 70 decibels over a long period of time can damage hearing.

Just me and another lady had the whole theater to ourselves! Visiting from out of town on a raining day. Why not......perfect alternative to the hike I had planned. Love that it is a hop, skip and jump from Homewood Suites where we stay when in town.

Its one of those theater that you go to feel nostalgic. The carpet was personalized with logo R on it. My movie, large popcorn and med drink costed me $20. That what I wanted to spend for spare 4 hours. Seats are not the lay down kind one finds in AMC . But they are comfortable. Christian at the counter was so so so polite and genuine caring to everyone. There were two ladies who were taking their time to decide and Christian answered them with kindness and compassion. Kudos sir. Thank you

2nd TIME CUSTOMER "How long has it been since you last popped the corn?" CONCESSIONS 3 minutes. (Right off the bat, Concessions clerk lies about how fresh the popcorn is and when it’s been last popped. Stale.) 2nd TIME CUSTOMER 3 minutes, hey? CONCESSIONS Like... 3 minutes... As if this has been a recurring complaint, Trell, the Manager gets involved but takes 10 min to look up corporate’s number. Won’t refund the popcorn. Bullied in the lobby by a defensive, apathetic, robotic 🤖 crew. I walked right back out of the theater and chose not to see a film based on this deterring, off-putting impression of customer service. This wasn’t at all like the last time I visited, but also not the same crew. The theatre was practically empty. A mystery why ppl are discouraged from frequenting the cinema these days. Guess I’ll go back to Cinemark or wait for streaming.
