The Teaching & Learning Complex at UC Davis may look impressive on the outside, but the academic rigor inside is surprisingly low. I personally know a student whose English skills are far below university level, yet he maintained a 3.9 GPA. The only reason he didn’t score even higher was due to the anger and frustration he experienced from being misunderstood and mistreated. Instead of offering real support or understanding, some people seemed threatened by the fact that he was different — smart in his own way, but not what they expected. Rather than helping, they reported him, which only added to the stress. It’s disappointing to see a facility meant to foster learning fall into patterns of bias, miscommunication, and low academic expectations.

They come across as totally unprofessional and clueless. It’s clearly a backup school for people who couldn’t get into their first choice. The brand is empty and has no real prestige — it’s a fallback option at best. Don’t let the “UC” name fool you; it’s a hollow label with no substance behind it. The people here seem just as uninspired — not the bright minds you’d expect at a top university. I’d steer clear if you have better options!!! The school is not for winner

This building has a very modern feeling to it. The Ac is nice, the auditorium holds up to 300+ people. Have a couple good memories here. This place does offer study spaces for students which really do help out a lot. They’re small but very cozy and had everything you could need to pass all of your classes with flying colors.

submit the uc transfer application so that those people will be irrelevant later. those people should know themselves better--I do not need to do anything on them. It is unfornate that i need to deal with those people at the first place.

Really great classroom set up for collaborative work. Teacher sets up in the center, students at tables circling, projectors project the slides onto white boards all around the room. Students can work in teams at each whiteboard and mark up the slides as they go.

My favorite building on campus for lectures, discussions, and studying. Many seats available throughout all the floors to do work. Also, there are amazing bathrooms with ceiling length doors and no gaps
