It is located in N Ocean Ave in downtown Cayucos which is walking distance from your hotel if you are visiting. Interior is large and goes all the way to the back. There is lots to see and discover. It's a great place to take your time to find your special treasure. Upstairs gallery have more items as well. The staff is nice and helpful. It is opened every day. There is free parking on the street. Handicap parking and access is available. If you've worked up an appetite after shopping there are restaurants and cafes are just a walk away on either side of the street.

REMEMBER WHEN is a three story antique emporium offering room after room of well displayed memories. It's one of the several antique shops located along Ocean Avenue, across from the Pacific. The friendly staff on the first floor has little knowledgeable of the vast array of items on the balcony and upper floors. The approximately sixty vendors select and display their collectibles. Each prices their own merchandise. The range is impressive. It's easy to get lost in your or your grand parents' childhood. Only the first floor is wheelchair accessible. The stairs are steep and the isles are tight. My wife and I have visited the store many times over the years. It amazes us how many pieces of history are still around. It's comforting remembering our childhood. Look for sale prices. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. STUFF: No bathrooms are available. The closest bathroom is across the street, at the base of the pier. Free street and ADA parking.

If no stars were available, that’s what I’d leave. Not for the contents of the store but for the horrible, uninviting customer service. My friend and I had spotted the store at 4:30pm. As we went to the door, a young man appeared to be starting to close up. I asked him if they were open until 5pm. He said yes, followed by a look like “are you seriously coming in.” Because it was our last day in the area, and we really wanted to shop the store, we went in. We were inside for 10min when he started turning off lights. At 4:45pm he was walking thru the store telling the 10-12 people inside that the store was closing and we’d need to leave. I asked him on the way out if the store was co-op (individual booths), he said yes. I asked him if he had a booth, he said no. To those that do have booths in this place, I’d highly suggest you look for new staff.
